June 25th Kompact Kar Korner Show is now an Fbody show. Cost is $5. after that we are cruising over to alfy's for our monthly meeting (thats who want to hang out more) then cruising over to Burgermasters for some shakes.
& Real food.

 

Hmmm, a car show at Hooters. We could probably fill that parking lot with just the people that have been going to Monroe. Tho I hear the food isn't very good, but they do have BEER. And a cute waitress or twenty.

I really need to get last years events we all went to and get them organized.

 

Getting shows together is harder then you think. I mean making first contact & asking if the location & sponsorship is going to be there is the easy part. then you got to talk about trophies & entry fee (if there is one) & other stuff. & whos going to be paying for it.

Damn that reminds me I have to go down & talk to Roger at baydo.

 

There's going to be another car joining the ranks in the show circuit this year...

Yeah I think I am going to have a whole new makeover of my engine bay as long as I get enough free time. It's going to be bling blingin' and after I wax my car it should be pretty good for a daily driver.

I sent in my entry form for Sylvana, and got my entry form for Cruzin To Colby yesterday. It's Show Time! Guess it's time to break in that new Porter Cable.....

 

Well I talked to the show director tonight before she went to a wedding party & the KKK fbody show got changed to the Idler's Car show in Stanwood.I dont know why but I think its because the lot was too small & wouldnt hold all of the cars.

The Date on that one also changed from June 25th to June 26 (Saturday to sunday).
Basically we are going to have our own little show in this big show (so a show in side of a show) the Cost is $10 & you can find information out about this one www.twincityidlers.org.

So its June 26th (sunday) in Stanwood Wa 9am - 4pm.

 

For those who know Ray Ortiz, his show that he puts on is coming up in July. It is July 9th at the Life Center Chruch off of Union Ave. in Tacoma from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is an open car show with a lot of catagories and trophies. $15.00 pre-registered and $20.00 day-of show (all benefits going to Tacoma inner-city kids programs). For more info, check out www.camarocruzers.cjb.net and follow the link to Camaro Cruzers message board. They had about 150 cars show up last year and they are expecting more this year.

 

Yea I forgot about that one when we were posting things Mike, So far that looks like the first event Dan will be doing when he gets back from the Sand box.

 

Glad to have you guys out for that one! That show should be a lot of fun and there should be some vendors there too... not just car-related vendors, but some other vendors there that you normally don't see at a car show, but might be cool to check out. This is also a family event, so bring the better half out with the kids and go have some fun!

 

Oh Believe me Once Dan gets back the kids will be doing a bunch of shows with us. That is just a family thing that is already planned. We leave the first week of Aug to go to reno for just a Dan & me trip lol

If I am off work I will be there. Last year I missed Rays show, The All Chevy Show, and the Aquafest show due to work, I hope not this year. Those three I really wanted to go to.
