Default Dyno Tune?

Are there any quality places to get a Dyno baseline and performance tune near Kent? I want to know where I stand before I start to mod.

you need to bring in your own programmer/software to the carb conn if you want them to tune it.

I wasn't that happy with the dyno they did for me, they had me leave the car there for half a day and charts/numbers were all over the place, I could have done a better job with photoshop

Turbo Technology down in Tacoma is also a good one down here in the south end... I'd go to them before Blood Enterprises.

Get HPT for your car and let Sardog and I have it for an hour out here on the back road!!! He drives and I will log, tweak and reload for another run. Works like a champ.

HP Tuner They're a sponsor and just about the best tuner on the market right now for LS1's in our humble opinion.

Yea but for a person like me Jason I have to take my car to Bloods because they are the only ones locally that burns computer chips. But this time if something goes wrong they are paying for the engine because it will be BRAND new.

Pay for an engine?? Blood?? I don't think so....The reason I say this is because a friend of mine took is stock eliminator car to him to tune, it was an Accel Gen 7 system on an LT1 engine. Well the engine let go on Bloods dyno, and guess what......He got a bill for dyno time used and was also told....."by the way your engine blew up on my dyno".......probably no fault of Craigs just because as a dyno owner it is a "stress" test on the engine and well things do happen beyond our control. That is why I have people sign waivers before a test is done. I had a tranny on a guys 572 crate engined 86 GMC pick up go south on me during a dyno run. Only he didn't complain about it when it happened. We were making a power pull and all of a sudden the engine hit the rev limiter like it jumped outta gear into nuetral!

I must admit I have seen more engines let go on Bloods dyno then any lately.

It is not uncommon to see a trans or clutch let go that is for sure

Well I have already called them they know the engine will most likely come to them with 0 Miles on the freshly built engine When it goes up to have the computer work done. Pllus I dont have to sign the waiver.
