Default Baseline Dyno

I visited Turbo Technology in Tacoma today along with my two Z friends. We each took a couple pulls and I was happy with my results. The first pull was actually my best.

SAE RWHP 283.8
SAE RWTorque 306.7

Now...time to start saving a little for that K&N air charger...I'm hoping for 300 RWHP.

Not too shabby. Funny how close to 350 these cars dyno, and yet our f-bodies were all well over the factory ratings. And it's hard to imagine an air filter is worth 20rwhp on these Goats. Mine will be coming soon.

Well, the GTOs are losing a little more through the IRS... so I'm not surprised they dyno slightly lower than the F-bodies. Usually the F-bodies were dynoing between 290-310 rwhp bone stock, so that's about in line with that.

Nice numbers for a baseline!

Those are good numbers. Just think back in the late sixties, a GTO 400 prob would not have that power with having more cubes. Have to love the LS1.

Not too bad on the numbers there. You can see my numbers from the same dyno in my sig. Mine is a A4.

It is a good starting place, now to uncork all the power.
