Todd, I am shocked! You of all people picked a performance mod over something shiny.

Those are probably my second favorite wheel for a C5, they are just alot of money. For the cost of the wheels you could buy headers, cam, springs, and chromies and still have money for driving school

It just depends on what you want, I'll probably never get them because of the size

So if it were my vote I'd do the performance stuff and chromies which is what I'm doing. But if you got those wheels you'd have me beat by a MILE in the looks department after you lower it....

Thanks! I personally like the chromies and the headers right now. But then again, I took a healthy dose of my wife's female hormones and I think I am changing my mind again. No wait! Yes, no. Oh hell, I am going for a refill, of beer that is.

Okay, that's two votes. Do I hear a third because that's Dale's number and that would be a sign that I need to do the ZO6's.

Cool thing about the chromies is if you sell your wheels then they are pretty much free, and they will be easy to sell later because they look good and are inexpensive. I plan on upgrading within the next two years to some 3K+ wheels but I think chromies look good enough it can wait until I get the rest done.

What you need is a partition. I LOVE mine, even if it didn't quiet the tire noise down and make my stereo seem good I like that I can put my sunglass and cell phone on the ledge without having to go to the trunk to get them later....Let me know if you want one I think I can get you a really good deal on a quality piece.

CCW's are a performance mod. They are LIGHT! You should definitely see a loss in rotational weight.

I don't think the 19 inch CCW's are lighter then the stock Z06 wheels....I could be wrong I've never weighed them personally but I remember a post on z06forums.com that compared the weight. Even the 18inch classics were a bit heavier in bigger sizes though such as 18x 9.5 up front and 18 x 11.5 in the back. The 19's are a one peice "bling" wheel really.

The stock Z06 18s are like 21 pounds and the 17's are 19.8 I think my Fikse 17 x9.5 were around 18-19 pounds. Again this is all from memory and internet learning so I could be speaking out my ***, I've been known to do that from time to time

I remember a couple of years back picking up a Camaro SS 17x9 wheel with a 275/40 road race tire and then picking up an old style CCW 3 piece wheel that was 17x12 with a Hoosier road race tire and it was the same weight or slightly lighter.
