Default Paging Ellis - Urgent

I need to buy the cam on sale from Futral before friday 3/18/05

Let me give you some numbers so you can tell me if I can go with this combo
or if I need to go for a smaller cam, or if gaskets will solve the prob.

HEADS:
TEA 5.3 stage 1.5
- CNC Port LS1 5.3 Head to Stage 1.5
- 3.900” Combustion Chamber
- Blend Valve Job
- Mill Heads to Customer Specs (NO MILLING FOR ME)
- Flow Intake and Exhaust Ports
- Heads Cleaned, Set Spring Heights, Assemble, Seat Pressure, Installed Height, and Coil Bind
- Ferrea 2.020 Intake Valve
- Stock LS1 1.550 Exhaust Valve (REV 1.57” Exhaust Valves are also available)
- Standard TEA .650" Lift Dual Spring” (Comp 1.250” 921 and Comp 1.440” 978 are also available)

- TEA Titanium Retainer
- TEA Locators
- GM Locks
- GM Intake and Exhaust Valve Seals

CAM:

F13 = 230"/232" .595"/.585" 112LSA (+4)

or

F13 = 230"/230" .595"/.595" 114LSA (+4)

Ellis if you can shed some light on the cam here I would appreciate it. I'm leaning towards the 114lsa +4

Most important -> pv clearance, can you tell by looking at those numbers if it will be ok?

THANKS ELLIS!!

The 114 will be mellower. both are going to be lumpy. It is a toss up either way.

Flipp a Coin and go with it

i say 112...that's just me though cuz p-v clearance wont be an issue. although every car is different i have seen cars measured with the tea 1.5's milled .020" w/ f13 on 112 and clears fine. (more than .080 on the intake and .100 on the exhaust)

Both should sound nasty. The 114 might be a tad easier to tune for idle. But since Ellis is doing it for you....go with a 108 +4 reverse split with a 650 lift solid roller, shaft mounted adjustable rockers, mill the heads .060" and throw a 200 shot on it!
