hehehe Brown is good BUT FedEx likes me to LOL! Lately even that big yellow truck comes by for some loving!

Then again All of Marks parts came home in a Red Z28

So how are all you guys tightening your crank bolts? I need to order that damn tool I got Ryan to hold the crank. On the vert I hit it with my good 1/2 inch impact three times. It Quit moving so I quit hitting it.

Definately don't want a repeat of Jasons events

When I did mine hit it with the impact then turned it another 1/2 turn with a breaker bar. Also used a new crank bolt because I believe that is TTY as well. (could be wrong on that it was over a year ago)

When I do the vette I'm going to install a pin so I don't have to ever worry about it!

How do you hold the motor with an Automatic if you do not have the tool?

BTW I have seen a few of the ASP's come loose. I remember helping Ryan tighten his at the track one day...twice If I remember right

its not the bolt it's the pully. they have soft aluminuim core, and it just wears out, i guess. When you put yours on spend the money and get the asp pinning kit too.

I just put a breaker bar and a pipe and another pipe then turn the **** out of it.

I did the breaker bar & cheater pipe method too. Stuck a BIG *** phillips screwdriver into a hole on the flex plate & truned till I couldn't breath. I think there is a dent in the block where the starter goes on my car now. And yes, you must use a new bolt each time.

That is interesting... asp pinning kit... it never ends... I am trying to hit the bottom of the list of things to buy here!

I just hope I won't hit the bottom of my wallet first

I've been calling TEA this whole week, leaving messages like "I want to buy your products, please call me at etc etc" and they haven't called.... Same with Futral, I guess they're all busy helping "other" customers (I hope).

So Ellis I'll give you a gingle when all the parts are here.

Magnacharger either has a kit themselves or they sell one. You can call their techline.
