Does the brand matter they will prob almost not be touching all the way down the track!

Some are lighter, some have less roll-resistance, some have different speed ratings, and weight ratings, and.....so yes it can matter. And as with all tires, you usually get what you pay for. What Jason just bought is the top-o-da-line tire. Match them with some GOOD rims & you can easily pay $1k for the fronts alone. Being a serious drag racer is NOT a cheap hobby!!!

I'll have the $ in my pocket if you want to bring the old ones with today...

Yup I will be deep in just my front tires and wheels alone. I bought my Wheels at a trade show for $200 less then I could Jegs or Summit. Once tires are on It will be close to a grand for just the front tires. They sure do not like to give those One Piece Billet wheels away that is for sure!

Sounds good they are in the truck ready to go. how is the weather out by you? Its overcast here, but not raining yet.
