True, i will look when we get to the ferry, i think i fit into the 20-30 foot range, which is only 20$ each way. i will measure the whole setup when i get home today.

I won't be able to make it. Last night in bed I was thinking and remembered that my parents fly into SeaTac at noon on Saturday and they kinda expect to get picked up and would probably be kinda pissed if they didn't.... Oh well, the car will be ready for sure next time!

Just dont fill up at the gas station right off the track after racing they raise their prices around noon or so then drop them back down the next day.

I would like to but think I should hold off until I sort a few things out,

1. Still throwing SES code, I changed the O2 sensor but still throwing code.

2. I need to get Ellis, Mark, or someone to drive my car I got some sort of a noise, chatter or rubbing comming from underneath the car. It is most noticable driving up a slight hill in second gear at about 20MPH roll a little throttle on and I hear what I would describe as a rub or chatter. Not sure if the exhaust is maybe hitting somewhere or if it is the drivline or rear end. In fact typing this a feel like the blonde taking the car in to be serviced you know the thingamabob.

I would like to take it out see if I could get it into the 14's just try not to stall it at the light you know Give you guys some comic relief.

That might not be a bad thread; How nervous were you first time out?

I was real nervous the first time out, Steve... I had no idea what to do, I had never been drag racing before in my life. But I caught on and I'm doing ok now...

Good enough to scare Mark into redlighting anyways...

Don't worry about it Steve, it's all about having fun. My first time down the track was a lousy 16.8! I learned afterwards that lots of GTO first timers did 16's their first time down the track. Now I'm solidly into the 14's and looking to keep it coming down.

I will test drive it for you. I am great at identifing rattels as i have so many. last time out i had a high pitched whine and found out it was the parking break spring ratteling, on the handle. Plus you will be alright. Once you make your first run you will start to get more comfortable with it, just think about the first time you lined up at a motorcross event.
