NITTO EXTREME 555 R 225/50/16 TIRES

2 tires $150 brand new is this a good price??

I'd say that is a pretty good price, but those are pretty skinny tires. Stock are 245s.

yes i was hoping it would be worth it to get em......ellis has 2 good tires for my hotrod i need 2 more good ones. You know for some dumb reason i need traction lol

Are you talking about putting those on the back or on the front? Just curious since you mentioned you need 2 more tires since Ellis already has 2 for you...

225/50/16s will not only be skinnier than the stock 245/50/16s, but will also be shorter. That means you'll probably throw an ABS INOP light whenever you hit the brakes, if you have them matched with a pair of stock sized tires.

Also, you don't want to put drag radials on the front... not good for your front traction.

Thanks. Them tires are out. It was a good deal, before i said yes or no i wanted to hear from the pros......Since this is my first hot rod in 15 yrs i forgot so much, and lots of **** has changed "opti-spark" WTF no Distributor Damn I Think i need a mechanic LOL
