Default Thanks Steve

I spent the day detailing the Trans Am and getting it ready to put the new vinyl on it.

It took me 3 hours this morning to get the car washed with Dawn, clay barred, and Dawned again. But the paint came out so bad that I could not believe that it was only 6 years old. The black almost looked grey with all of the scratches. I guess an ice scraper and heat gun don't do well against GM black paint.

But thanks to Steve and the Menzerna twins the car is looking sharp again. The toneau cover is polished up and I even hit the engine compartment and trunk. I detailed the tires and wheels too.

The only bad part was that by the time I got the car done it was too dark to take pictures, and I am sure it will rain tomorrow now just because I did all this stuff to the car. (So when it does you can all blame me.)

Your welcome, Howard actually did all the hard work, the wax off

We should have taken some before and after shots even I was a little suprised at how the hood came back to life. I would have liked to spent the whole day on the hood. polish every last flaw out or till you hit bare metal

Speaking of polishing guru's. I just ordered a Corsa Cat Back that of course I want polished to perfection before I install. I would love to bring it up to your place and get that follow up metal polishing lesson, hint, hint, hint
