Default Mod party this weekend

Okay... this time for real. Getting the car back tomorrow morning, all the parts are in and ready to go. Much variety of cold beer in the fridge.

I'm thinking Saturday morning ~10am? I dunno, I'm flexible. Whenever I can get help is when I will do it...

Going to do shocks, springs, LCAs, relocation brackets, sway bars, STB.

A couple tools that would be helpful if someone can bring them.... pickle fork for taking the front suspension apart... or if someone can tell me what size I need I can go buy one. Might need a spring compressor... I have a spring compressor, but it's of that variety that's kinda iffy.

Also... my driveway is a little difficult to navigate with a lowered vehicle. Not impossible... but at least if it stays dry there won't be mud / water puddles to dodge.

I'll bring my spring compressor... I don't have a pickle fork though. I'll bring a box of back-up tools (commonly used sockets and all that) just in case. I'll also bring my big-*** floor jack...

Anything else you need? extra BFH, big-*** crowbar, c-clamp, etc?

Not sure I can make it Zeke. Now that my truck is back up & running, I need to go to the nursery & make a dump run this weekend. But I can bring my pickle fork Friday to Jason. Do you have a pry bar? Every car is different & sometimes you need one to move the rear end around.

I have a couple of pry bars, yeah... I think we should be okay there. I'm probably going to tear into some of it tomorrow night after work when I get the car back.

That front sway bar is gonna be a beotch, though. That sucker is heavy.

Big *** floor jack would be most helpful, yes...

Between all that I think we should be covered. I'm gonna make sure I have grinding bits for my Dremel just in case we might need them.

I'd say bring anything you might think would come in handy. You can never have too many tools.

Ah yes... dremel. I'll bring mine along with my extra bits just in case as well. And I'll charge up my portable impact wrench and bring that too.

BTW...

If you reply to this thread and indicate that you're planning on coming, I will PM you directions to my place. Just don't want that out in an open forum where everyone could read it, you never know who might show up at my place.

Yeah, it would definitely be a haul from Portland... 3 to 3.5 hours.

Up to you man... if you want directions, let me know.

If I get lost in the sticks, I'll be sure to call you... once I do make it I'll be sure to take it slow up your driveway. I'm sure you'll hear me coming up long before you see me.

Yeah, if you take it slow you should be okay... you'll see big puddles, but they aren't as deep as they look. Looks like it's gonna rain this weekend, so it's probably gonna be a little wet.

I won't be bringing the Z28 to your house, as we've run into a few setbacks, mostly in the rear suspension.

Anyhow, I'll be up there in the wife's CR-V, so that mudpit driveway won't be a problem.

Hey, I had the pickle fork with me at B-town.....loser.

Sorry to hear about the suspension Jason. Happy (in an odd sort of way) that it didn't cost you this illustrious crown we 3 are after. I'd rather it be on the up-n-up!
