Monroe is not a true 1/8th.
I put a hurtin on many cars though on friday night.
The only guy that beat me has a 70 Dodge with a 400 stroker and big slicks, he pulled me off the line
or I would have run door handle to door handle with him.I have plenty of time to prepare as the next race isn't until May 30th. memorial weekend. It will be bracket racing.

Rokko, you get to run your car as many times as you like...and then you get 2 runs in before we bracket up. I guess those would be called qualifying times, I'm not sure. I usually run the T/A 10 to 15 times per outing, depending on how many cars show up to race. Come on out and lets race, you'll have fun.
The thing about Monroe is you are right beside the car you are racing, I guess that's why they call it street drags.
krazzycowgirl, My wife saw the T/A on the showroom floor @ Clyde/Revord motors in Everett and fell in love with it. I didn't plan on racing the car, until I learned about the LS1. IMO a rollbar would not look good with the top down, I also sit with the seat way back, I'm 6'2".

Monday May 30th. they will be bracket racing. Gates open @ 10:00 am. For the first hour or so it's pretty much a free for all for racing. I think the bracket racing starts at 1:00 pm.
I know that's a pretty busy weekend for many of us. I will be in town so I'm gonna run. If you can make it I could meet you somewhere in MLT and head out. The cost is $25.00 for the driver and $10.00 for a pit pass for the non-drivers. If you can't make it, we can try another time.
