Oh man... I posted this thread up this morning, haven't checked it all day until just now, and already over 40 posts.

I'm thinking we definitely need some digicams going when the time comes so we can post up the carnage on their website... Maybe 10 or so "Camaro/Trans Am destroys M3" 1/4 mile videos will show them that their cars are not invincible. And if that doesn't do it, the "Hummer rapes M3" video should make them cry just fine.

Seems like it's just a few bad apples there spoiling the bunch. Most BMW guys I"ve met aren't that cocky. Hell even the ferrari 340?! I beat was respectful and didn't cop out a poor excuse. I was gonna post over there supporting the quote boyce made about the f-bodies vs the vettes with my stock run vs the intake exhaust vette (which granted could use a lil more practice at the track) but it supports the higher traps statement. What the hell? I think that car might be a hair faster than my wife's CR-V. Like I used to say, I don't sweat nobody at the track that doesn't even strap on a helmet before their run. Hell... now I don't sweat anyone that hasn't installed a roll bar because they needed it to pass tech.

Man I am so tempted to join just to post. They toss out an the "until my M3 kick's there ***" statement then wonder why we show up.
Boyce was very civil at every turn. I have seen a few of those cars at Carb Conn and seen a few more on the street for activity's.
I stand by my Statement. I ain't scared I will offer up our slowest Daily driver for first round bait it only run's 13.2s in the heat
We WILL be getting Boyces car to the track. and if I have to Fly Jason back to get a the best pass it will run low 11s

I think you should go down there on July 6th and challenge any of them to a race... even with your "slowest daily driver" car, it'll be more than enough for any of the BMWs that run around these parts. 
I fully plan on being there, and I'll ask them who has the fastest car in their group and I'll ask if he cares to line up...

Funny when I watch Barrett Jackson I don't see any old BMW's going across the block in the six figure category??
BMW makes a great car I'd certainly wouldn't mind an M-5 in my garage, but then again I could have a Caddy and my car for the same doe. But then I'm happy with a .50 cent cup of Juan Valdez in the morning so what do I know about the ultimate driving machine.
