Track Update:
The majority of winter budget and work at Pacific Raceways was put into rebuilding and repaving turn # 9. Included in this will be a landscaped picnic area trackside of turn 9. Additionally draining efforts were made at the kink that leads onto the main straight. This was done in an attempt to eliminate standing rain water. In the past months a "Users Council "for the road course has been established. This group working in conjunction with the racetrack, will direct further development and improvements in the years to come.

Continued Success for our Log Books:
ProFormance Driver's Log Books...this book is a "working instrument" to be used by ProFormance clients and staff. Provided by the school, this book is to be kept in your car and presented upon lapping check in. The book will be used to help you establish a "driver's notes" system. Additionally it provides opportunity for ProFormance staff to document observations and comments. Please remember to bring your log book each time you drive with us.

Beginning with 2005, ProFormance will put in place a validating system utilizing the log books to document your driving biography for use when seeking driving authorization other tracks and sanctioning bodies.

Most drivers can renew their 2005 returning drivers form on their 1st driving day with us....we will contact you if we need your form updated prior due to outdated information.

Recent graduates of the one day high performance clinic, drivers with new cars, or who haven't driven Pacific Raceways in the last year are required to reserve a 1/2 coach ( 2 hours ) their first time back for lapping. Additional fee is $150.00. Coaches are in high demand with our seasoned drivers as well so please make your reservations early. We also offer 1/4 coach, when available for (60 minutes) coaching services $75.00.

Schedule:
Please arrive early and check in with Don for receipt and advanced lapping number Mandatory Drivers' Meeting 8:15 AM to review the driving guidelines for the day. Our goal is to have you on track by 8:30 AM for the group to have a slow orientation and warm up hour.

Highlights of driving guidelines to be covered in our meeting:
Remember this is sport driving at 7/10ths
Entry and retirement to the racetrack will be discussed
Passing on the front straight away only at the indication of the instructor or lapping driver. Considering the new front straight away configuration this will have to be a cooperative effort. Three other let by zones will be discussed
Prior to going on track, you should review pre-lapping checklist.

Pre-Lapping Checklist:
