To quick to judge I've been getting my Olds into as many shows as I can this year.
It's been a real blast. Never done it before.
Anyway, last weekend there was a Show and Shine at Elma and
I got there late and finally got set up.
Must have been only a hundred or so but many were pretty nice.
At awards time, people started getting these nice placks and
I thought I might get something because the judges spent some
extra time looking at my wheels.
Well, they called my name for best paint and I went up to get my
plac but the guy just holds out this crummy envelope.
I shook his hand and went back to my car.
Damn!!! Where's my plac?
I open the envelope and pull out a nice thank you letter for showing
up wrapped around two 100 dollar bills.
Sheeeeeeee......at!!!!
Bite my tounge!!
Turns out there were three cash awards.
One for best engine, best paint, and best of show.
Besides all that, I had a great time with some of the folks there.
