Default Fuel Filter

Well got the fuel filter replaced and it made a huge difference Now just to get the plug wires done and maybe gap down the plugs a lil.

Its amazing how such a simple lil part can make a huge difference. Did you clean out the injectors too?

not yet hehe don't have the good injector cleaner (that hooks up to the schrader valve) one of the few things I'll take it in for, that and a brake system flush.

Should I reset the PCM since it was misfiring and stuff before?

Yes to all - check with Ellis since he has everything right there. You want to make sure the numbers are where they should be since you are getting a better delivery of fuel now.

ok reset the pcm everythings ok, but still have a slight lack of power until about 4000 rpms... now under slight throttle I lose a little oil pressure. here's my theory but I dunno how accurate it is. Could a stuck PCV Valve cause a loss in oil pressure when intake vaccuum is increased along with throttle position? The way I see it it's still pulling pressure from the crank case as well which would cause oil pressure to drop no? and also probably intake more oil into the intake and cause a lack of power? I won't know for sure until tuesday or so when I can get a new PCV but does this sound like a valid theory?

Crankcase pressure has no bearing on oil pressure. It will have a bearing on oil consumption and on causing oil leaks, but as long as it's full of oil it won't have any affect. Oil pressure is controlled by oil pump condition and bypass function, bearing clearances/condition, and oil type/condition. At this point, if it were me, I would want to verify that my oem gauge is accurate by hooking a mechanical gauge up and watching that. A bad oil pump o-ring could also cause what your seeing. A lack of power is more than just a little troublesome. Might as well hook up that gauge to see what's going on IMO.
