Interesting Developement
I was prepping the car for the races this afternoon, and I found something interesting. My #6 plug that was showing signs of using oil is now nice & clean. So it appears that the worst of my rocker arms, that was coinicidentally on that cyl, was causing it. Putting enough side pressure on the valve to let oil past I guess.
AND, oddly enough, in the 200 miles of highway driving yesterday going to Canada the car used NO oil. YEAH BABY!!!

Well, it means I don't have to tear into it everytime I go racing. Which is a very good thing! The plug used to be close to fouling after ~1000 miles.
And I will feel much better about whoever I sell this motor to when the time comes. I was thinking it would probably need to be honed & have new rings installed, and the valve guides replaced to be dependable as a hot rod motor for more than a few months. Now they should be able to run it for as long as they want.
