Like I told VIKING, happiness is being stroked AND blown. She thinks I'm talking about the car....

So c'mon Boyce, give it up....HOW MUCH? We can't talk it around for you if we don't have a ballpark price.

I am figuring it would be a good buy at $8,000-$12,000. More then that might be pushing it and less would be a shame. Even though it has all the race stuff the drive train is basicly stock and the interior is gone. Many race parts are driver choice and may not make the sale any better for one particular buyer or another.

Good luck Boyce I hope you replace it with a dedicated car!

I don't know anything about the car but I might pony up $8-12k for that sucker if it is as nice/good as advertised.

8-12K isnt going to grab it. The only real stock components left on the car are the trans and rear end. The motor going in it should make about 420RWHP. Just in the mods that I could remember right off hand there was over 20 grand in those. And those are all mods that will be going with the car. And a running SS is worth 13-15 in stock form, that of course would include a full interior. I still have the carpet and some of the interior plastic and the head liner.

Hard part with a car like this is that its a niche market car. Have to find the right person at the right time, with money in hand. I am looking for 17-20K. 20 would make me smile and 17 is what I could live with. Yeah it may be more than a stock car but to duplicate what I did would cost almost 3x's that. I may just throw it on ebay with a high reserve I know noone will pay just to see how far the price goes up. If the money is where I want it, I'll just contact the high bidder and go with his last bid.

It will be replaced, but with what......I dont know yet. I may just sit on the cash for a while and take a break from racing all together and focus on the business.

If anyone wants pictures I still have 2 copies of the GMHTP Boyce and Bill were in. I can't seem to get anyone to take these things off my hands (hint, hint, Boyce).

And let me just add, "BOYCE, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?!" We all want to see this thing running again and you are robbing us of the chance. You tease us with pictures of your new toys that will be going in it and then you deflate our expectations of greatness with this news? This is tantamount to Ellis saying he might sell the blue car. SNAP OUT OF IT!
