heh, I am thinking 12 hours of having kids, I would be delirious! Funny part is, Tom thought she had, by some miracle, gotten with a boxer or rot at first because they DO NOT look anything like a wolf/northern breed. He finally looked up pics of mal and husky pups and realized that they look just right

They all look like they will look mostly like mama (sire is black on white w/cream). The one that did not make it was unfortunately the prettiest - a very light tan with minimal black

Have you guys had any hits on anyone wanting them yet? I saw a post on Craigslist, was that yours? I've been telling everyone I know, asking if anyone wants a pup..or parent...

Havent gotten around to listing them yet ... will probably wait a couple weeks. I dont even know what to ask for them for a state-wide listing. Over here they go for $150 - $165 each depending on wolf content, eye color (if any have Mischief's Husky-blue they will be worth more) and coat color. I have no clue what they go for on the west side, tho.

Those puppies are adorable - but none for us one big dog is more than enough!! Especially one that sheds all the time – can you say furballs all over the house

My parents had a husky/timber wolf for about 7 or 8 years named Bohmer (German for wolf) he was the best dog ever he was very gentle and was great around my kids when they were little - Patrick used climb all over him no problems ever - of course my parents and brother stared right away teaching him that he was NOT the alpha in the pack - scruffing him daily taking his food dish away while he was eating and them giving it back and other stuff – we never had any problems – except for the howling at sirens man he hated sirens

You hit it right on what is necessary An ohhhh I forgot about the howling! They are not barkers, but they will howl - especially at sirens, but also if they are lonely lol

I also wanted to say that we posted just to share our happy news. If any are interested, that is great, but we did not expect for anyone to want one ... you all have heard our woes having to do with the dogs, so we thought we would share our new arrivals

We would but I'm not sure what John is bringing home with him - that and the old people to the north of us think our black lab is a "vicious" dog

Well duh, if you take a *cane* and start smacking him on the face while on a lead line because you don't like dogs then sure, he's going to strain the line to smack you back.
Can't imagine what how much crap we would get from them if we had a wolf-hybrid.

Very true. Consider these people think a Lab is a attack dog I can't imagine what they would think if they found we had a dog part wolf. The only concern is we do have wild packs of Coyote's living very close, the two don't mix in one square mile area too well

unfortunately I wouldn't have the time with work and everything to give a hybrid the excercise they need so the backyard would be a mess lol.

Was lookin at the rescues though for adoptions in case I could convince the parents for another dog and found this handsome young lad. link
