I got a new assignment at work, took on a real mess, traveling alot working seven days a week not sure why I took it on, but us TEAL THE NEW PINK guys have got to stand together so I definetly want it to spend some time in my garage.

I took the "pink" car on it's first full test today. Drives like a kitten....well when you yank the timing to nothing to get a base tune that will happen
It still bites hard even with 27 Degree's(Plus Four at cam so 31). Fixed some minor electrical problems. Took the Machinest for a quick ride. nothing hard but enough to have him thanking god it was over.then drove her home in the rain. We were very worried the huge heads, big cam and large intake would make it soft on the bottom end. This just has not been the case. It is Snappy and quick to rev. once we really get to tuning it she should come alive.
Only real problem so far is I need to finish cleaning the shop so I can pull it in and pull the fuel rails back off for more welding. Damn end caps are leaking
GM must put 'O' rings there and we cooked them welding the rails up.Hopefully we will have her cleaned up and ready to play soon!
Yep, that thing is quiet...until someone rolls up in your driveway and makes it bark, no need for a horn at our house it seems
