Ka-thunk Ka-thunk
Ka-thunk Ka-thunk That's what it sounds like when I pull in/out on the left rear wheel. Didn't really notice much on the right side. I'm assuming it's the slop I have between where the axle is held in the diff? Is this ok? I didn't jack the rear end up, just pulled/pushed on it w/ the car sitting on the ground.
I was feeling froggy tonight, was making a long sweeper left turn onto a main road and decided to lay into it and drift through the turn
then made a pretty hard 1-2 shift in the middle. Felt a bit unsettling; I can't guarantee this is what caused the sloppiness in the rear end because I've driven this car for 5 years both drag racing and autocrossing. I just felt like checking the rear end when I got home..

Good, didn't know if I was concerned about anything out of the ordinary since I don't know a whole lot about rear ends. Hopefully I'll get to dive into it sometime in the future for a gear swap/ diff. change.
