Default Online PC games?

Does anybody in here play online video games (PC Based)?

First Person shooters (Doom3, Quake 2, Fear, Battle Field, etc.)

Strategy (Command and Conquer, etc.)

Role Playing (Dungeon Siege II, ...)

I am dying to play somebody I know...

I have every Star Wars game ever made for the PC all the way back to X-Wing ... well, except for Galaxies. I just can't see paying for a game every month to play it after you already paid $60 for it at the store.

Used to play Horizons: Empires of Istaria, Unreal Tournament (still have it just not installed), Soldier of Fortune, Quake II, Jedi Knights II. But haven't in a while. Comp is mainly used for web and media work.

About that. My video card is having problems, or something. I just reloaded Ghost Recon, and several other games, and they do not come up, I just get the black screen of death, and it locks up the computer. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Another old time gamer!!

That's still the funnest game I've played online against buddies. Maybe it was the newness of playing online, or the fact I whipped his *** all the time while throwing those text based and pre recorded taunts back and forth.

Ahhh the old days.............

I like Medal of Honor Allied Assault. I really haven't kept up on the games that much. My friend keeps trying to get me to play Battlefield 2, so maybe I'll give in when I am back at my house after Christmas break with my own computer..

Damn Dude Nukem was the shiznit back in the day.

I don't really play anything online, for one its terribly addicting and two I pretty much suck, so I can play a game like Fear, Half-life 2, Unreal etc. to the end by myself. I tried to get online with Warcraft III and it was a ridiculous beat down.

I really enjoy the role playing games always have from the old Bards Tale on my Apple IIc to Morrowind. I am truely a serious geek.

So is Dungeon Siege II a good game?

Wow, that is an old RPG. I play the original Starcraft once and awhile, however normally it is my intranet and just Amy and I vs 2-4 computers. Very fun Problem was I went on-line w/ Battlenet and would get my butt handed to me, no fun

Hehe, once you get online you quickly find out how predictable the computer is. I used to think the 'Brutal' level was impossible to beat. But now I've got over 800 games under my belt on C&C Generals online. Now most of the people are predictable depending on who they use. I hate rushers! The way I play, as long as I can hold off the first assault it forces them to play the game out.
