Default New Job

Well starting Jan 9th I will be working as a lube technician at Carter Subaru in Shoreline. Gonna be a slight (.30) cut in pay but hours will be more consistent and I'll have a set schedule. (S-M-Th-Fr) with 4 10's. Hopefully I'll progress and move into a service advisor position later on.

"Lube Technician"? Is that a fancy way of saying you're the guy that changes oil Subarus?

Dammit Rookie... and here I thought you'd be able to give me the hook up over at Les Schwab.

That's ok, I'd jump ship too for only a .30 pay decrease and 4 10 hour shifts... 4 10s rocks.

Oh and let me know if you still want those ET Streets of mine...

yeah but I guess it's cuz I'll be working in the Quick Lube M-Th-F though on sundays I'll be in the main shop. Only thing is I think this means I'm gonna have to start up an account with the local Snap-On guy one of the questions was "Do you have tools?" So looks like I'll be doin that or getting another basic craftsman set.

Hey Josh, pay them no mind. 4-10s would work out better cept on Wednesday and Friday afternoons...unless its "laundry nite"

Just make sure to 'test drive' the WRX sTi for us. I'm sure someone will have no idea there is no need for a test drive but we need a first-hand report, ya know?

hehe oh I plan on it they've got 2 on their lot right now. Zeke can give us one too since he's owned one.

And I talked to them about the nat'l guard and said it wouldn't be until summer or so and they said it was ok.
