With any other clutch I tried I was able to launch off the limiter and have the tires stick... with the McLeod, anything over 4k rpms hit the slicks so hard I just roasted them... even after a several second burn to get them nice and sticky. Because of that clutch, I need more sidewall to launch hard... going with a 28"x10.5x15 tire for next year.
But on the street... damn thing drives almost stock except for a little added pedal pressure. No chatter at all, no squealing, no nothing.

Either the tires will give, or if they don't, something else will if things haven't been strengthened.First time out with that clutch I was spinning the tires most of the time, and the one time I did halfway stick a good hard launch it blew up my Eaton heavy duty posi in my 12 bolt.

Oh and after I had it installed and I got it to the track I immediately broke my rear end. Remember? That's why I have my built rear now.
