Default Moving on

Well Dan & I have decided to move on. Since we no longer own a LS1 car I will not be posting here as much.. May post some shows & what have you but we are going to be having fun with our new 71 Drag car.

We traded in the 99 for a 71 Z28/RS drag car (yes there are some thoughts of pulling the engine out of the 71 to put in my 87 but Dan already said NO (dang)

So have fun & see you around the track or shows.

yes the new car will be at shows & the track.

I'm not understanding where you're coming from at all. I also sold my 4th gen fbody and I also ONLY have my '71 RS/Z28 now and you don't see me going anywhere Am I supposed to move to an all 2nd gen site now ? Not a friggen' chance lol ! Although I DO spend a little more time on nastyz28.com than I did before, you guys are still stuck with me Somebody's gotta keep all those LS1 ego's in check j/k ! If you want me to leave then you're gonna have to kill me haha !

Seriously though, alot of the guys on this site I met simply BECAUSE I had an LS1. But now that we've raced/laughed/drank/oogled /broke/traveled etc together I'd be here if my only hotrod was a '72 Datsun 510

Yeppers they now have our 99 & want 10-12 K for it lol

It took us 3 weeks to work out a deal for this car.

Doug if you went in & asked them what the price was they would have most likely told you 19,977 Down from 23k.

They had the car on 5 diff. websites for 5 diff. prices & when we were up there 3 weeks ago we almost had a deal worked out where it was 14k for their car & they took the 99 for 7k & we financed the rest. didnt happen that way they pulled out of the deal & said they wouldnt sell the car for less than 16k. Well thats why I called them again because I saw it on a website for less than 16 lol. They kept telling me that they needed 16 out of the car because they put 6k worth of tranny & clutch in the car., then they realise that they were not talking to a normal type woman, that doesnt know about cars. before we left the house we had a deal pending depending on the shape of the 99.

We ended up with a deal of 14,500 & they took the 99 for 7k & we financed the rest. Ended up being 8100 that we have to pay off of but with a nice intrested rate the car will most likely be paid off in a year.

The Old timers Like Don, Ellis & Bill might remember this car from back in the late 90s. Back then it was owned by one of our Car club members by the name of Mark Sorger.

YOu guys will most likely see her in the next few weeks I think the first show will be in Port Orchard if Dan has the day off. Then she will also make her way to the All Chevy show & like the Fathers day show in Auburn. Plus all the little Camaro shows we do.

If you were coming from Mount Vernon then it was right after the casino there on the right hand side over the hill.

There was the Chevy dealership on your left & Frontier ford was on your right.

I would think you could have gotten WAY more than that out of it selling it yourself. I saw your post earlier and had a fish on the line for you too.

Howard we were only selling it for 8500 so its no big deal. With having over 100k miles on it people got scared. I just blue booked it & it only shows up for 5,940 & Nada says 8,175 so we did good for a trade in. But we were not budging from the 7k no matter what. When I called them sunday morning they tried to tell me that the car was only worth 4-5 & they said that they didnt offer us 7. That got them hung up on & they called back.
