fuel pressure regulator i was just wondering if this fuel pressure regulator that my grandpa sent me will work on my camaro. he gave it to me to originoly to use on my 71 pickup. he was building a sbc for it, but i had to sell it because it got to hard to drive with my knees (i had to lift my foot so high it almost hit my chin just to get it on the break). so now i have this fpr sittin around, its a basic holly. so can i stick it on my car or do i have to use one specially made for LT1s.
No, a fuel pressure regulator for that old pickup is for a carb, and it probably set around 7 psi, where as a fuel injection regulator is set around 45 psi (depends on the specific car).
If the truck was fuel injected, then it might work.

You can buy an aeromotive one from summit for about $130. Includes two springs to run carb fuel pressures or Fuel injection pressures. I'd get that. It will do whatever you need it to do
