My truck sits on the side of my house...It cost me 20 dollars just to start it up...hahahaha. I would get rid of it, but I would take it in the poop chute right now.
Seriously, I don't think I will be doing much camping this summer. I love camping too! Harvey the RV is getting about 8 to 10 mpg. That would make the cost of a camping trip outrageous!

Hmm you guys have some high gas prices. I just did a fill up on my car at 3.01 for premium, it wasn't all the way empty but it was $38.... Hope it doesn't go up another .15 I might have to fix the ignition problems and AC compressor in the Blazer to get a bit better MPG....

Premium at $3.19 a gallon x 24 gallons (still had a 1/4 tank) = $77. Full tank would be $102 or so.

Cheap **** 87 octane at $2.99 x 24 would still have been $72. I could be dumb *** and skimp on my motor and save the whopping $5 bill that won't even buy me a value meal! I never did understand the guys who think buying cheap gas makes any real difference.

I love it! I finally have something to brag about. Everyone has fast modded cars and mine is all stock. However, it gets 21-23mpg going back and forth to work at an average speed of 31-35mph. I fill up once a week and go. The best part is, and get this, I do not pay for gas. Not ever. The company pays for it along with my car payment! Now I feel better about having one of the slower cars here.

Geeze! I been dropping a $50 in my tank every Friday and putting a $20 in the visor for gas come Wednesday for two months now!

Heck, last fall I was eager to go see Ellis because gas was cheaper in Monroe for Shell than it was here in Yakima for Conoco!

...Yea....

You just gotta deal with it. To be honest I'm more upset with the 10 hours lost during the week just commuting. And that's if there is no traffic.

Dude. I don't even want to know.

Actually I do. I'm guessing $80-90? A decent sized SUV the other day ahead of me in line pulled $71 on 89.

At least u get to drive, With a full tank [approx. $45] I can go 150 miles only... roughly 3miles a buck

I just filled mine on the way home from work tonight and dropped $43 in the tank at the shell at the bottom of my hill. 3.299 for the good stuff.

wtf Eric how did you manage that?

And Cory, if I run 92 in my Volvo, I can run 14psi, and get 25mpg highway. But if I run 89, I can't run as much boost, but get 27mpg highway. Lower octane is easier to burn, so that's why some people put cheaper gas in . If your car isn't high compression and tuned specifically for 92, then you will actually run better on the lower grades.
