Koni Shocks are Awesome!
Yesterday my Uncle and I installed a set of Koni shocks and struts on my car. All I can say is WOW! The difference is night and day over stock shocks. I did the rear hose mod and set the struts on the lower perch. My car recieved about a 3/4" drop which looks GREAT, and the install was pretty easy. The only snag we ran into was when we were using the jack to raise the caliper and rotor back into place, it looked like the strut would not compress, so the jack started to lift the car.
After we took it back out and disassembled it we couldn't figure out what the problem was. So we tried it again and it did the same thing. So we decided to just keep on lifting the car a little bit to see what happened. After we lifted the car about another 3" the spring and strut assembly started to compress, so all was well.
Long story short I am extremely happy with these shocks. I am shocked( ) at the difference they made in my car. My car no longer handles like a boat, and it plants into the corners.
Right now my car is at Speedware Motorsports getting an alignment. I will post up pictures later.
