Brakes?....I don't need no stinking brakes. There is a saying in Open Road Racing on how to drive a race:
Light hands and No brakes... or is that NO BRAINS
Actually I run stock ZO6 brakes on the front and stock C4's on rear. You don't use the brakes except at the end of the race to slow down a stop. To
slow during the race you let off the throttle and the speed really drops.

So what happened to the pretty blue paint job?
Way to go Boyce! Hitting the 200mph mark is a big one! I have only done it once for a short spot in a turbo ZO6, but would never go that fast, but just for a second. Frankly it scared the **** out of me. Keep up the good work, and when is your car going to be complete?

Stupid Painter I had sent the car to the painter for 6 wks. He said don't bug him. I called a week before the race to see if he was done and he had not even started. So he put a coat of primer on it which made it look worse. Stupid Painter.

I'm in the same boat with my super charger. Before I sent it in, they told me I'd have it back in 3 weeks (as in next week). Now that I'm trying to plan for the race & car show next weekend they are saying maybe not until August.
