New wheels are on
I got my new wheels on today. They look pretty good, but it would look better if I lowered my car, but the road we'll be living down shortly won't allow it
Here's the thing though, these aren't the wheels I ordered. I ordered stock c5 sizes (18x9.5/17x8.5) with stock size tires (275/40/18 and 245/45/17). What I got was 4 18x9.5 wheels and 2 285/35/18 and 2 275/35/18 tires. I talked to who I ordered them from and thought they treated me pretty crappy. They made a mistake and got my order mixed up with someone else. Fine, **** happens. But then when they called me first (cause I hadn't gotten too it...2 hrs after I got them) the guy on the phone almost called me a liar. I told them that I'd be willing to go ahead and keep these. He then told me he can't do that and he'd just split the difference with me and "only" charge me $75 to upgrade to all 18s. I was like, no freaking way, send me the tires I ordered! So he was supposed to figure out how ups was going to pick them up and call me back. Well he never called back, I called them the next morning. What do you know, they're going to let me keep them, cause shipping these wheels back to them and my wheels to me is too expensive (duh, that's what I told the first guy!)
So now I have 18s all around. Not exactly what I want. I haven't decided if its a good thing or not. I was kinda thinking maybe I should sell the 2 rear wheels and tires and get 19x11s that way the sizes are proportioned as they're supposed to be.
Anyways, here's some pics.

Lower away, but be sure you have a competent alignment guy for when you are done. Most shops won't spend the time to get lowered cars right.

Tires are just way too much for 19s otherwise I would.
