Spokane Emissions??? headed to fairchild next spring leaving florida , thank god, what kind of emissions are you guys under, if you have a turbo car what do you need to do to get car to pass?

Haven't done the emissions yet (actually don't even have to, Steven's County, no emissions) but from what I have been told is if the car has OBD II that all they do is plug into the car, see if there are any codes that have been thrown in the last three months and if nothing you are free to go. This is only hear say, coworker has a 90' Wrangler that just got failed for emissions but was waived because of haveing a shop spend X amount of dollars to attempt to correct it.
