Default !!need help!! AIR question

hey i was wondering if i can make my own gasket for the AIR system. i need a gasket for the drivers side header/air flanges. if i can manage to make one i can go down to Tom to get my tune done tommorow. i ordered one at GM and its arriving tommorow which is one day too late . any help would be appreciatedddddddd

if you have the skills you can make your own gasket for anything. just get the correct material for the application.

Go to Schucks or any parts store and ask for gasket material. Try and find a material made for heat. Cut a small piece that is a little bigger than the AIR connection, then hold it down on the header flange and rub hard on all edges to make an imprint. Then just cut it out. Anything will help to get you by...

thanks appreciate it.. yeah the one i ordered from GM should be here tommorow they said so i need something thatll get me through tommmorow!! thanks guys ill go do that

I had a similar issue. Went to Napa got some gasket material. Voila! To easy. I have a bunch of it left over as well to bad your not closer you could have some of it.

thanks for the help. made my own.. now im just finishing up an oil change and off to Tom tommorow for the tune !!!! wish me luck
im a pro at making AIR gaskets.. made my own stencil j/k about the pro comment....
