Oregon DEQ? I am a former and future Oregonian. Recently I have purchased a stock 2002 Z-28 and I am planning to put a new exhaust in it sometime in the next few months.
Does the DEQ still do tailpipe emissions tests? I am considering going ORY but I don't want to have to add cats when I return to Oregon.

Oregon DEQ (In the Portland/Sorrounding areas) does their emission tests using the on-board computer (in equipped vehicles). They do not do tailpipe sniffs (except for non-equipped vehicles) nor any visual inspections there after. The sky's pretty much the limit considering you can pass regardless of your setup when using an o2 simulator.
