Header question????

Header question???? I currently have a 87 rx7 with a 2000 ls1 in it. I trying to figure out if the pacesetter headers would fit on my rx7 with the motor init. Is there anywhere locally i can purchase them. I am over in the belleuve area/
from what I understand all the F-body headers hit somewhere on the RX7 crossmember... maybe i'm wrong.
what trans are you running?
if it's a T-56- (as far as I know) your choices for headers are 1: jagsthatrun, 2: hinson supercars, or 3: BBK 1-3/4" fox body mustang headers for a 351 swap, w/ LSx flanges welded on.
if it's an auto, then do what I did... modify a set of patriot 55-57 chevy LSx swap headers. $230 through speedway. you have to heat them & bend the collectors up & in slightly. then the reducers get cut real short, and a 45* bend right there to get it as close to the body as possible.
otherwise... ported stock 01-02 F-body manifolds are suppsoed to be the best setup.
i'm almost done with the exhaust now... I hung it by safety wire today. should be welding it up later this week.

I was looking at the hooker camaro headers, but being unsure changed to the 55-57 swap headers, since I knew they were close... and a lot less $$.
I haven't dynoed... not that far along yet.

Lol i have no idea, I told them something is wrong with there dyno cause in portland, it made 336 to the wheels. I was just going that day for fun. That place has a horrible dyno. Also evo 9 mrs dyno stock atr 250 to the wheels, I know also cause my roomate has a modded one. And the evo 9 there came out with 209 to the wheels, and it even had upgraded exhaust, downpipe, and boost controller, and a intake. So just a horrible dyno

what up man, No i love the headers honestly, they sound soooo freaking good, when you get on it. But when you cruisin around they rub slightly and make a ticking noise from rubbing on metal, its hard to explain. other then that i love them. But i am wanting to change my exhaust and not sure what to do. Trying to find some real long tube headers that will fit in my rx7, then have an exhaust made mandrel bend.
