I watch the show, I like the show and I believe the show is getting better, they are getting better cars, and better racers. The episode with the two brothers 1st gen Firebird vs. 4th gen Camaro as an example. Fender racing at the finish line is one thing coasting from half track is boring.

It should be about the driver, so use the tree, not some homo droping his arms, that guy sucks on the seam of my nut sack...

Ellis will remeber when the Blue car was actually slower than my LS1 Z-28, (by like a .10) but he was crowned king...Why? you all know the answer, he outdrove me...

Gee, Eh guys,......well,...EH,.....Actualy, I think you are missing the POINT! Drag racing is big REALY big in some parts of the country and there is a tradition, and customs, that have been around sence the BEGINING! Though admitidly not nearly so often as you might think there actualy are street races for pink slips! When I was In school I saw a best of three that I will remember for the rest of my life, I mean It was so hands on, every one, was RIGHT THERE, and they dont use a tree or a track. I think what the show originily wanted to do was honer that tradition. As far as not being able to get enough people to pertisipate the show had "thousands" of people try. Im sure that the new format is just a natural progression for ratings that every T.V. show goes through if it is to last I mean there are hours and hours of top fule eliminators for all those who want to watch that sort of thing but for me I prefer a little more relitivity like Street cars! witch I CAN watch for hours and hours. All the rest is just so much star wars to me!
