It just started snowing again but this time its dry - and will probably be around for a day or so. Wonder if they will underestimate again like 1996 and we'll get 14"?

So how was the ride in the new truck????

Truck ran Great! No issues at all besides the windshield wipers kept freezing. We had it in 4x4 from yakima clear over snoqualmie pass (100 +- miles) and it couldn't have ran better!

Yeah, we left Charlie's at 7 am. We weren't going to wait around and let the snow build up anymore. And I'm soooo glad we got through the passes before most of the traffic!

It's still snowing out here...I hope the roads are ok for everyone in the morning..

The trip went well. only problem being the wind shield wipers freazing solid every ten minutes. so Then I would be stuck hunched over trying to see through the clear spots

Over all the truck kicked ***! We could not have got a it at a better time

Thanks Again Moira!

Glad to see all went well and you made it safe and sound. Looks like it was kind of nasty. I've been that route many times and it can be a bad road to be on sometimes in the snow. I remember one year we went to Montana in like the worst blizzard in I dont know how many years. A trooper got killed on the side of the road. It was like 94 I think.

Winter of 97' to be exact. It snowed like 5.5' in two days. I remember because I drove there for Xmas that year and got stuck in Missoula during that blizzard. It was fun to drive in though.....

Bunch of whiners. j/k

It really doesn't look bad at all. It looks like normal winter driving in east Idaho, Montana, Utah, etc.

I agree! I have always got where I wanted to go...IN A CAMARO!

Back in 87 I drove all night through Wyoming(sp) and came to a gate. There was a line of truck on the other side. I got out and ask what was up and they told me I had just drove over the closed pass! That explained why I never saw anyone and could not find the road half the time This was in my lowered 74 Z28 with a 383, 2,800 stall and 3.73s on 265/50-15s

Not sure we would have done so well in Steph's car but we did just fine in the truck

That looks like some fun! I love the snow............but I think I figured out that my 4 wheel drive don't work today.

I'm gonna need to put it up on blocks to check.
