Ellis do you think that (ferarri) red is to feminine?
Well I'm almost sold on the kandy appple red over a black base but you can change the final hue of the red by the base coat. In the previous pic there is a purple metallic base under the Kandy apple.
This could be the color!

Ok called Hok and had them look at the website and tell me what they though it was. Besides being their Kandy its sprayed over a silver base he thinks or it would be a lot darker. So it looks like I'm going with a silver metallic base then fine silver flake then the red then a clear. Materials will be $1000 he said.
Well reality sets in. Its going to be about 1,000 extra to paint the whole car and fix the imperfections. Insurance is buying one control arm and a k-memeber (used). So I'm going with a UMI K and lowers. The uppers adds cost in parts and labor so not doing them. Its not like they add weight anyway. I'm going to swap the exaust out after I get it back and will need to spend there. So black it stays. Which isnt such a bad thing. New black paint will look real nice with my wheels and chrome badges.
