Cryogenics in magazine....
Good article about cryogenics and the substantial longevity increase it adds in this issue.
I'm going to check into doing my 918's and pushrods before I install my cam. If it's under a hundred bucks then it's a no brainer, to me at least.
before and after results:
valve springs: changed yearly before treatment, now on the 4th year with less than 10% pressure loss.
diff gears: one year, now on 7th year. though there must have been something goofy with the set up. Chris hasn't changed his gears yet and he's throwing 1200hp to them and been using them for 3 seasons.
some prices:
engine block, 340.00
complete disassembled engine, 575.00
I know if end up buying a broken T56 for my LS1 swap (to fix of course, I'll cryo-ing some parts in that, namely the input shaft, 1st-3rd gears, and the output shaft.
