I showed these to some guys at work. My friend with the Evo loved them, espesially the rotory one. Another guy who drifts his 240sx got upset at it. He said, "Now thats just ignorance, saying a rotory is crap because people who don't take care of them complain when they break." I almost tried to tell him that any engine when taken perfect care of needs a rebuild at 60k miles, then its not very good IMO. But I just let it go.

To some, ignorance truly is bliss.... getting in an argument over it is pointless anyways. I've been really tempted to put a jet ski or sled motor into an RX7 just to really get under their skin! after all, a rotary engine is just an over-glorified 2-stroke.
does he know of ANY rotary cars that can do this:

those aren't exactly stock motors in those cars. a stock LS1 FC or FD will go 12's and sometimes 11's.
the second generation RX7's (like mine) actually have some space, compared to other imports.... but they aren't as pretty.
tell your buddy I'll build him a LS1 FC for $15k, or an OK LS1 FD for $25k.

Jesus, thanks for making my night. The girl in the video who is bold enough to tell the ricer crowd that they suck the big one is a good sport--kudos to her. The pictures are hilarious.. I especially love the Civic with the cut outs for the exhaust.. DUAL AT THAT, ROFL! How pleasing would it be to jump on those pipes... Just kidding, that'd totally be uncalled for.. but yeah.. muaha.
