Default Showing some progress

Went to check out the car Saturday. Still waiting for the Front end from UMI but its almost all painted. Weird the way they tapped off he bumper and didnt do it at the same time. But as I look at the pic it looks like it isnt painted underneath. ?

When are they projecting the finish date?

Glad to hear it's coming along.

Should be done being painted and re-assembled by the end of this week and then its a matter of getting the UMI parts. My guess is two weeks from tomorrow which should make it 8 weeks to get it backs.

LOL,,, I noticed that too. It must be fluctuating with the market, kinda like the oil prices.

damn, well I finally got some shipping info so it looks like my car might actually get finished. Middle of next week the parts will arrive and I'm guessing Sam will have it finished by the weekend. I think everything is done except for the front suspension, and I have to put the intake on. I had them paint the FAST as well.
I'm not sure what to think. It's been so friggin long since I've driven it or even seen it as a whole car that I'm kind of sceptical about it. I guess I'll believe it when I see it. It went off road on Jan 1st. I've been waiting since jan 24th (took 23 days for insurance to settle) for the UMI parts.
Good news is that Kia has a 1.8 litre and really catches people by surprise

It took like 8 months for Farmer's insurance to settle when an old guy rearended me, and even longer than that to fix. You car is going from pretty much totalled to rebuilt in a month of shop time? I'd say that's impressive.

Well it really wasnt a total per say total. It only had minor cosmetic damage one fender, nose pecie and minor repair to the hood and needed a whole new front suspension basically. Other then that it was fine. It was Progressive dragging their feet and then UMI not having the k-member ready.

I had them do a whole paint job out of my pocket. I guess I expected UMI to not take so long. The body shop has been fine, they're held up by the lack of parts.

If my insurance hadnt taken 23 days to pay, it wouldnt have taken so long. Maybe still would have taken UMI over a month but at least it would be done by now.

Oh I know Ryan (sorry for my griping). Your products are well worth the wait. Thats why I order them in the first place and will again if I ever need anything in the future Although I dont think there is anything else you make I can install 6-point in the future works?

Honestly it's the whole incident thats got me flustered. I have absolutely no hard feelings towards you guys at all and would do it all over in a heart beat. Only this time I'd just order the whole thing at once. That might have had something to do with the delay as well.

I got the shiping info and I'm excited. It will all be here on the 6th and 7th so I really think I'll able to pick my car up on the 9th. I wish someone would stock your parts though!! They're a great product and seem to be very popular!
