Default Pushrod length

Guys does it make sence that my rocker arms came with 7.250 length pushrods???? I have seen some talk about 7.400 length pushrods. My rockers are 1.7 ratio if that makes a difference. This is just what the kit came with. Thanks for the help.

Those are a little to short. Did you mention to them anything about milled heads?

No I ordered it as a kit, Cranecams has a guide with part numbers to use when you pick the cam that you are going to use and I just followed their guide. I'll double check my part number to make sure that summit sent the right parts.

I looked up the part number and it's correct, started to get curious because I looked it up at summit and also Cranecams website, the part number is 144750-16, it says that it's for LS-1 and everything. Whats going on....

Umm, very strange. Im positive the stockers are suppose to be 7.400". And the rockers are stock ratio. What cam did you pick out with them?

Good all around cam. But I have no idea why they would recommend those push rods.

I think what I understand is that when you reinstall the stock rockers then yes you would use 7.400 pushrods but when using the roller rockers then it's the 7.250. Maybe someone else could help out? I'm still learning so maybe what I'm saying isn't true. I don't know
