Default I'm definitely not modding this car...

Ok, so I lied a little bit.

Here's pics of what I've been up to with the "turquoise terror":

New Torq Thrust M wheels in black:

Black acrylic lettering for the rear, plus the tips are from the new stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust, which is a catback, high flow cats, and front y-pipe:

Some hood striping... they're not hockey stripes, but I had to make do since they don't make those for Corvettes:

And of course, I had a mild torque converter with trans cooler and shift kit, and a tune up, all courtesy of Speed Secrets.

Next up will be new leather for the seats...

So yeah... so much for not doing any mods at all.

Surprisingly that wheel doesn't look that bad.

C4's are hard to get an aftermarket wheel that looks "right" on them.

Thanks! It is one of the more uncommon C4 colors... turquoise metallic, only made in 1990 and 1991. At first I wasn't a big fan of the color, but it grew on me enough... plus I figured some black accents would look really nice with it.

Those black accents really set it off. I like it. So are you going to hit the show circuit with Doug, Mark, Steve and I this year?

Oh yeah, I will be. I ran it a couple of times last year, and it's really consistent. Over the course of two different races, the car ran within 6 hundredths of a second (was 8 passes or so)... the car can definitely go rounds, the driver just needs to get it there.

I'd definitely like to do some of them... that's why a lot of what I'm doing is cosmetic, because I think it will show pretty well for a 16 year old car.

Looking sweet - I remember it when you first brought it to Bremerton last year. Definitely a sweet ride!
