Best slip reads

R/T: .063
60 : 2.016
1/4: 13.252
MPH: 99.72

It was my first time at the track ever.... I did 8 passes... Pretty much all were in the 13.3-13.4 range with a few bad passes like 13.5 or 13.6

I was hoping for high 12s on the little ninja, but no such luck.

aha,

that makes more sense, still quicker than I would expect.

the 250's are said to run low 15's (with a pro rider)

I remember reading somewhere that the 500 is supposed to do a 12.8 with a pro rider, but I find that hard to believe after friday... was a little tricky launching. It was hard to find the medium between bogging it in first and picking the front wheel way up... I want a bigger bike.

You have to slip the **** out of the clutch through the 60' with lots of throttle. A bigger bike will only compound the problem exponentially.

Jr. I thought you were talking about your car...
Then I realized it was your bike. Did you they make you have any of the safety stuff?

I would be lucky to get the car in the 14's

I wore a helmet, gloves, jacket, and long pants. Halfway through the day I was informed that I needed boots for next time...

So you didn't need a fuel cut off or kill switch?

It has the engine cutoff switch and a fuel valve, but nothing that would stop the engine from running if it went down... Unless I managed to hit the engine cutoff switch....

Am I supposed to have something for that?

I might be interested if you are actually serious about selling... I was looking at getting a full out sport bike though...

You are supposed to have a tethered kill switch similar to what jet skis have. A VFR is a V4 sport touring bike. Great torque and a killer deep sound.
