Default Sat CCC results

Well not as good as last weeks race

4 out of 8 made it to the 2nd round
then 2 out of 4 made it to the third (Brian in Silver Turbo T/A, and the other guy (didn't get his name) in the White Turbo T/A)

My alignment on the rear end (took out 1.2 degrees of negative camber) made a world of difference and I was flat hooking. I dialed in a 12.60, and broke out with a 12.46@112.05. I think I was even letting off, cause I had already caught the guy next to me (1st gen maroon RS Camaro...dialed in at 13.15) So I was out the first round. Crystal also was out the first round

But I did run a new best...just the wrong time to run it.

Default I Won!!!!

I WON!!! Everybody else was out pretty early, Matt in the white t/a opted to back out of CCC to run Turbo Thunder due to the transmission being hot, and we were essentially hot lapping. I got knocked out first round of Turbo Thunder cause my eboost 2 decided to take a crap on me and now it's only running at 4.5#'s of boost, which is the wastegate spring. (really slow!) Oh well, got it figured out for CCC tho. Felt wierd having a 12.15 dial in, lol! At least I didn't have to wear the fire jacket and strap in any more, cause it was HOT! Very hot! Anyway, I'm pretty happy, never won a race before! And I got a trophy! Yay!

Well done Silver... I redlighted against you and I saw two more (inluding one in the final) .. Was that the total number of redlights from cars racing against you?

Congrats Brian! Glad you were able to figure out what to run, and what the problem is.

congrats brian,

I heard a rumor that 2nd place went to a blue maxima from Midnight, is that true?

I also heard he ran a new PB today 14.0 (his last pb was last week, 14.33)

I redlighted with a -.005 in the second round and ran a 13.28 on a 13.25 dial.

It was freakin hot, so I took off... but damn, Brian... congrats!! Nice job today.

I wouldn't be surprised, he was doing pretty good today.

Thanks, Dr. I returned the favor a little later. By the way, I missed third on that pass then shut off only to realize my win light was already on.

Bremerton was redlight heaven today.

Sorta wished we stayed out longer to see that, but that would have been a few more hours and we were pretty toasted by then and from PR the day before. Pretty sticky day all along and hard to focus on one, let alone two series -- very impressive showing!

GG Brian! Seeing that you can bring back the hardware even if your car is struggling, you might consider building a shelf in the garage to hold all the future trophies as well!

Congrats Brian, damn impressive feat with a turbo stick car. I didnt stay either, there towards the end they were really starting to take their time and we were fried. I was kinda proud of myself though, ended up going 3 rounds in CCC and made it to the semis in Ford Pro. I even took down the only Super Pro car which was a super close race.

Thanks guys! I found my problem today. Took about 2 minutes to find. The hose running inside the car to the boost controller got real hot out under the hood and basically got soft and collapsed itself when the car went back into vacuum and in the melting essentially glued itself together. Oh well, at least it's an easy fix.

Brian
