Just another Stang
. Then the usual questions .... We had a good 15 or so minutes in discussion. He was really astonished not to find and turbo or supercharger in my ride. He was a really nice guy.
Moral of the story: Mustang guys are not that bad, they really appreciate if beaten or should I say thrashed by a nice LS1
Back then I drove a pro street '69 Chevelle with a 427cid, lenco 3-speed trans, shortened 12 bolt rear, blah blah blah.... and the guy was in a stock-bodied '79 Camaro with simple bolt-on's (carb, manifold, headers, exhaust, etc.). At a stoplight he signaled that he wanted to race, to which my friend and I looked at each other thinking "He's gotta be kidding, right?!?". When the light turned green he punched it (barely even spinning his tires), while I simply ignored him. At the next light he shouted out the window that my car was pathetic blah blah blah... to which again we simply ignored him and kept cruising around town.
Moral of the story: Even Chevy guys can be such annoying, blow-harded d*cks to other Chevy guys. That's pretty much why I rarely, if ever, "label" people by the cars they drive.
*thumbs up* to that guy in the Mustang for being a true gentleman
