thanks for the warm welcome. ive found about 20 cars that ive been drooling over. i want a 02 Z, but i think my cap(or my wifes cap) of 25k is not quite high enough for a Z. a FRC is really probably more than enough for me.

what do you guys suggests for first mods? zip-tie, whatever that is. LTs, a tune? i really need to get up to date on the LSx motors, as ive only had expiernece with LT1's.

I got an FRC last year down in LA for $17.5!!!!

My first mod was new wheels....got rid of the wagon wheels ASAP plus I needed tires badly. Then I did the column lock bypass (read about it on corvetteforum), headers and catback, airlid, then LS6 intake. This spring I stepped up with a new clutch, beefed up rearend, line lock, diff brace, and some ET streets. Oh and HPtuner (though I haven't done much tuning)

seems like the going rate for F-body LS1 cars is in the 8-10k range. im partial to camaro's, and from reading the FAQ it seems like paying the slight premium(if you can call it that) for a SS isnt worth it, as they all left the factory a Z28's, you just dont get the cool hood/spoiler.

Does your s2k sit behind Russ Dunmire Mazda off 56th? It looks familiar. Maybe just the blue roll bar. Welcome! I'm sure you have fun with whatever LSx vehicle you pick up.

welcome aboard. hope ya get a vette, as we need another in our group as one just left us (Jon). If ya can swing a Z06, then you have a package that can't be beat. Check out my sig for insight with very few mods, the n2o run not even headers. The FRC is a great platform to build from and $$ effective. keep us updated.
