Default WTB 4l60e

Hey guys, I'm looking for a tranny to put in my pickup project. Needs to go behind a 5.3L, so one out of an F-body or pickup/tahoe/burb will work.

I'd consider anything from a unit that needs rebuilt to a full built unit. Right now I just need it to get the tranny mount correct and in place. If its a stocker or less it will get rebuilt later.

Willingness to pay obviously depends on condition. Would like it to be local so I don't have to mess with paying for shipping.

Let me know if you have something laying around.

I've got a used one that needs a rebuild, it has no bell housing & no tailshaft housing. came out of a 99 Z28, has 113k on it. it slipped only at full throttle, otherwise was fine.
make me an offer if your interested.

I have one with about 19k on it. Strong one as it held 10 sec passes in my light car all day long. Removed for a RMVB TH350.

I'm in Southern Oregon though. I do have a crate to ship it or we can work something out if interested.

Just want $400 for it and has everything there including dipstick, trans mount, crossmember, torque arm mount etc.

This will work on a 95 Bird correct? I lost the transmission yesterday and need a replacement. Shop is asking $2700 for a rebuilt tranny with 12k warranty.

I believe the electrical connections for the PCM are different.

If it will work for you I have a '95 Firebird LT1 4L60E w/~70K miles on it that I'd let loose for $200.

If we can confirm it's basically a plug and play I'll take you up on it. What's the condition? What kind of miles?

from what looking I've done an LT1 4L60E will fit onto a genIII motor, but would require a crank spacer. No one has said anything about the electrical connectors. But using a genIII 4L60E on in other application probably won't work unless you have some type of adapter too.

I'm pretty sure other than the genIII 4L60e (identified by a 1 piece removable bellhousing) they're all the same (externally at least). So a 95 should work with a 95.

Looks like Jantzer and I have a deal worked out for his tranny,

Cool glad your getting a replacement.

Ellis can answer all these questions if he sees this post tonight. Ellis you out there? Didn't get through when I tried calling earlier.
