I thought he told me it was all stock and pulled something in the 340's.

Yeah, that's a misread. It was 341, not 391. I remember looking at the sheet and thinking the 4 looked a lot like a 9.

Steve picked up a couple HP and a good bit of Torque. More than the peak numbers though was that he had a serious increase in under the graph area in the mid-rpm band. Also, it sounded MUCH smoother than last time. His maggie is much happier with your tune.

Oh, and for the record Steve's 04 GTO is FI, not NA.

As Nick told me, there's a Dynojet run viewer available on Dynojet's website. I emailed Nick and asked for the run files, to get uncorrected and etc...

I think everyones numbers were just a hair low from what they were expecting, humidity was around 70-75% which i didnt think about untill i looked at the graph.

Yes, humidity equals moisture, moisture in the air means less oxygen, less oxygen means less power- thats why you don't see guys running great times at the track on a hot muggy day

True, but the SAE corrected numbers that were provided, takes this into account, right? My numbers were within 5hp of my last dyno pull at TTi that was about 6 months ago. I thought the air was pretty good! If we were running at Bremerton on the Dyno Day, I checked weather conditions and then calculated the DA using baro and humid, and it was like -1500ft.

We are going to go from a 164 tooth flywheel to a 142..Then we will have lots of room.

I just took a look at my file and it recorded 50% humidity, 30in barometer, and 52*F...for a total SAE correction factor of .95, which means it had to correct DOWN by 5% from the raw number. It was GREAT air.

I was the first one to dyno that morning at a little after 9 am, an my graph claimed about 73% humidity, so i guess i should've waited till a little later in the day lol--Whats up with Steve's turbo Goat only making 369? did i miss something

It's an original 112 Maggie on an otherwise bone stock ls1. Bone stock numbers on an 04 GTO are around 270/280, so his 370/400 is up 100hp and 120tq with just the standard low boost. I've always heard to expect about a 40% improvement with a Maggie and that's right in the ballpark.

This is the point of the SAE correction. It shouldnt matter, you would have gotten the same numbers.
