Embarassing question:( Hey guys I feel dumb an a little embarrassed about asking this but I get alot of help from this section so I figured what the hell. Okay I bought a tool awhile back an im not 100% sure on how to use it correctly-its a remote starter switch where you connect it to the starter to be able to crank the engine from under the hood, well Im not exactly sure on where to connect the leads, i know it needs ground but would the positive just connect to the large terminal on the solenoid? im a total newb when it comes to electrical stuff.

Did you try this?
Did the smoke leak out?
Electricty works on smoke. When the smoke comes out... it doesn't work.
You should connect the remote starter between the large terminal and the small terminal on the starter.
The large one is +12V from the battery and the small one activates the solenoid and turns the engine over.

Electricty works on smoke. When the smoke comes out... it doesn't work.
