Driving in the snow!

I've seen more sand trucks out here on our road last night and today than I've ever seen in the last 5 years we've been here, but it's still icy as heck out there. I just walked up by the road taking pictures and trucks were going by spinning their tires...(doing it on purpose)...
We've probably got 5"...it was 4" when ellis went to work, then a while ago we had a blizzard pretty much..which dropped at least another inch or so...it's still snowing off and on now..although I've seen the sun peek out a few times...
They are saying tomorrow is going to be worse so be careful out there everyone!

Finally got some decent snowfall this year, 14" last week. A lot of it blew away last night with 60mph winds and warmer temps. Last time we had more thatn 2 or 3" was the year we moved here from Marysville, 2002. Hopefully we will get some more before spring.

two metro buses stuck coming up from the bottom of my hill and then two got stuck coming down my hill this morning. Nothing was moving by my house. It's not every day you get to see a bus WITH CHAINS get sideways first thing in the morning.

We got snow in Corvallis, but nothing like you guys get. A few days have passed where everything is icey in the morning.
No snow/all season tires = No driving for me...driving in any snow is like my steering wheel is cranked to the left while my foot is in the gas full throttle. Sigh.
